Store Manager

Description:
The store manager position has local responsibility for managing an $8-10 million dollar real estate property. This responsibility includes:

Effectively selling storage spaces to customers generated from numerous sources including walk-in's, telephone shoppers and internet/call center reservations;
Collect monthly rents from customers and manage the delinquent tenant process;
Provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers;
Motivate staff toward accomplishing property company goals including revenue, rental, reservation conversion, delinquency and expense control targets;
Assist with hiring new staff;
Maintain excellent property appearance by cleaning up trash, wiping down doors, light maintenance with assistance from outside vendors as needed;
Stay abreast of competitor's prices/specials and make recommendations based on this information;
Manage controllable monthly operating expenses vs. budget;
Weekly reporting of operational results to home office.
Qualifications:
The qualifications required of all Store Manager candidates include:

Excellent sales and customer service skills to sell our storage spaces and provide a high level of service to our existing customers;
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers, store staff, home office and vendors;
Computer experience in a Windows environment is necessary as our property management software and internal reporting systems run on Windows;
Motivated, organized self starter who can work independently is required to achieve monthly operating goals and effectively run the property;
Team player who can thrive working for friendly trustworthy organization.

Storage Consultant

Description:
The storage consultant position assists the store manager in managing an $8-10 million dollar real estate property. This responsibility includes:
