Drive through any neighborhood with homes for sale, and you'll see them everywhere — "For Sale" signs leaning at odd angles, posts rusted and worn, lockboxes dangling from anything sturdy enough to hold them. Jason, the founder of Aluma Post, saw something else: an opportunity.
Where it started
Drawing on his background in aluminum manufacturing and powder coating, Jason designed a better solution — modern, clean-looking sign posts paired with a service that guaranteed every installation was level, sturdy, and professional. Aluma Post now installs and removes signs and lockboxes for real estate agents and teams across the area.
"Most agents' signs looked very generic. The sign posts all looked very old and not cared for — most were leaning or not installed properly."
It's a niche most people don't know exists. "Most people didn't even know that our service was a thing," Jason notes. But like most growing businesses, Aluma Post eventually hit a wall: where to actually work.
A storage unit that wasn't a workspace
Before FlexWorks, Aluma Post's setup was a patchwork — a storage unit for inventory, and Jason's own garage for everything else.
"Before moving here, our sign storage was in a storage unit that did not allow us to actually work there. So we also had to use my garage for our workspace."
The storage solution and the workspace solution were two separate problems. The old setup only solved one of them.

With the right space finally in place, Aluma Post is growing. The company is expanding into address signs and mailbox sales and installation, building on a year Jason describes as one of real momentum.
